Sales Policy
By inquiring about any of our animals you are unspokenly accepting our terms and conditions. Please keep in mind this policy is subject to change as needed.
Reserving Bunnies & Deposits
*If pick up is not possible with in the 2 day grace period then we do require 50% of the total purchase price of the animal be sent as a deposit to reserve and hold that specific animal till an agreed upon pick up date.
We accept: CASH APP & PAYPAL in that order for electronic payments.
If using Paypal please send by Friends & Family or add the 3% goods & service fee.
Cash Deposits: You are welcome to come meet the bunny & place a deposit. A receipt will be given.
*Before a deposit is received, a pick up date must be arranged*
We are very flexible with time & dates.
Once a deposit is placed:
-it's non-refundable
-can't be exchanged or substituted for a different animal
Booking & Appointments
Be courteous by being on time, if you anticipate being late or cant make it please notify us.
No call, no shows will be placed on our do not sell to list and blocked. Any deposits places are forfeited.
~~We now charge a $10 fee for changing pick up dates less then 24hrs in advance~~
Please remember to be courteous of our time!
~We no longer book appointments after day light hours~
Be mindful of this in the winter when days are short.
If you are booking an appointment without placing a deposit or having a purchase agreement in place for a specific animal, then don't expect that animal to be here at the time of viewing.

*Life time support! Doesn't matter how long it's been since you got the rabbit, if you have a question or need to be walked through something contact us. We have 25+ years breeding these guys, so there's a good chance we maybe able to help.
NYS Age Requirment Law
We don't place any animals up for sale until they are at least 5 weeks old.
Deposits maybe placed on these 5 week old babies that are not quite ready to go. They will have a release date published next to their information. This date is the day they turn 8 weeks.
(Ex: RTG 5/9)
These reserved babies must be picked up within 3 day of the published date -unless discussed prior.
Pick ups & Meet ups
We are also willing to meet buyers that have placed deposits, within a 1 hour radius.
- $20 fee will be charge for our gas/time.
- Meeting fee must be paid in advance via PayPal or cash app
Failure to show up will result in the forfeit of any deposits or fees placed up to that point.

The Breezy Lilac offers guarantees that most breeders do not! This includes our gender guarantee as well as our one week replacement policy for death or illness. We also offer the rabbit life time worth of support!
You wont find another breeder that offers anywhere close to that kind of buyers satisfaction. Most breeders don't want to be bothered once the animals leaves their care.
We stand by all the animals we sell. If you ever have a problem just reach out we will do our best to make it right.
Our Guarantees
Applies to animals purchased for $100+
-Animal must be returned or proven deceased with in 7 Day of leaving the Breezy Lilac Rabbitry for a replacement to be issued.
NOTE: probable cause must be found & addressed before taking your replacement home. This is to ensure the safety of the new animal.
**Gender Guarantee replacement policy **
Applies to any animal mis-gendered when purchased
-Animal must be returned for replacement
Guarantees do NOT apply for animals using transportation! Please read about transport below.
Using a Transporter
We do NOT fly rabbits.
Please keep in mind we live in upstate NY, (Basically ON the NY/ Canadian border). We are 20 minutes from the Champlain, New York - 0712 Customs.
With that being said most transporter do not come even close to us. We typically have to drive a minimum of 2 hours to meet them.
**Requirements to meet up with transporters**
~$300 minimum purchase
~Animals must be paid in full before we leave to meet the transporter.
Animals being transported will NOT be covered by any of our gaurentees. All sales using transporters are final!
*Please keep in mind if using transportation*
Most transport services have multiple animals from different rabbitry's confined to a small, very unventilated area. This exaggerates the animals stress as well as makes for a very unpredictable transport environment. Rabbits are at a MUCH higher risk of contracting illness by using a transporter.
Refunds
Replacement Animals
* We will try to match the gender & value of the animal the best we can.
* Refusal to accepted the animal offered will result in the forfeit of all obligations & no refund will be given.
*One replecment animal ONLY! If something happens to the replacement, you will deem as incompetent & will be placed on our do not set to list!
This is for the safety of our animals! Sadly this HAS happened once in our 25+ years of breeding. If this happens to you - please save yourself the embarrassment by NOT asking for a replacement. I do not take kindly to this, these are living animals and must be treated as such!
Rabbit Surrendering
No Facebook post will ever be made seeking or bashing an owner for bring a bunny back!
We don't want people to feel too ashamed to bring animals back in their time of need.
It is important that we do not fill up the shelters - this takes space from animals that are truly in need! Our rabbits DO have a safe place to come back to! There is zero reason for any of our rabbits to ever turn up in a shelter!
*We do kindly ask that the animal comes back in its cage if at all possible, as it makes it a lot less stressful for everyone involved.
No Contact Surrenders
If you remember the address you are welcome to come at your leisure. You may safely place the rabbits cage inside the enclosed porch for us to find. You are not required to leave a note or even knock on the door.
** If you don't see rabbits in hutches to your right after pulling in, then you have the wrong house!**
I have 25+ years of personal experience raising rabbits, with about 15 years raising the Netherland Dwarf breed. Before I started breeding dwarfs I was very successful breeding and showing Holland lops in youth! I was # 1 in my region for multiple years and very active with the club. My love for the holland lop breed started to fade when I got my BEW Netherlands. Eventually completely fading out of the Hollands by the time I was 18.
Currently I am a 4x ANDRC recognized charter breeder, and are in the process of handing that torch to the next generation, as did my mother who started me with rabbits when I was only 8 years old. I got my first charter breeder award in 2008 as a youth, then my open charter a year later, while I was still predominantly show in youth. The minute I turned 19 and turned open I began showing with my mother and received a 3rd charter award with her. Finally after I got married I received my last showing with my X husband. My mother Wendy Martin taught me the ropes, and got her charter back before they really started keeping track (some time before 1995). My mother got her start in the 80’s with Chuck Weber as a mentor, and stuck very loyal to the Netherland Dwarf breed till her passing march 2014.
My knowledge of the breed and reputation of producing consistent quality stock over the duration of breeding rabbits is what truly sets my rabbitry apart from the competitors. Over the years of raising dwarfs I have taken countless breed and show wins. Unfortunately I have lost much of my showing status over the years, primarily due to the drastic slow of my showing career, however my past success speaks for itself. Currently only attending 1 or 2 shows per year. I'm hoping to bounce back into showing soon.
